Such a delightful evening for our annual HIA Soup and Chili Cook-off to raise funds toward our 2018 Habitat for Humanity home sponsorship! Our first time having this event in the newly renovated First Universalist Church building went smashingly well and fun seemed to be had by all present! Delicious soups and chilis, wonderfully entertaining live music, started off with a meaningful and poignant blessing by Sr. Minister Jeannie Shero of First UU, and a crowd of hundreds coming together for a great cause.

he father of the family whose home we are sponsoring and helping to build, Abdurahman, attended the dinner and made a speech to thank everyone! Was nice to meet him!
