The 16th Annual Habitat Golf Classic took place at the gorgeous golf course at Hilton Denver Inverness on Monday. This event was made possible with the participation of all the generous sponsors and golfers, the staff at Inverness, the volunteers and HIA reps, and the event chair, Rob Ayers.

We had a perfect weather day for a round of golf, and social distancing was practiced and sanitizing measures were taken to keep everyone safe. Prizes were awarded for best scores and skills. A delicious box lunch was provided in place of our usual buffet lunch and program.

Chair Rob Ayers gave a short speech to thank everyone for being a part of the event to help us raise funds toward our 2020 Habitat for Humanity home sponsorship. Rita Mohler, Habitat for Humanity Metro Denver's Faith Relations Manager, also gave a short speech to thank participants and let them know Habitat Metro Denver is carrying on with their work to provide safe and affordable housing to families in need in Denver.
