| How Can I Help? |
VolunteerThere are many ways to help with your time, but as we enter build season the best way to help is to sign up to build with us. Check our site for sign up opportunities as different fundraisers approach on the calendar. Youth are always welcome to gain community service hours at our fundraising events, even if they are not yet old enough to build. Outlet StoreDenver's two Habitat for Humanity Outlet Stores were named by Westword as "Best Low-Cost Home Improvement Store". If you are doing a remodel, planning an addition, or even redecorating your house, you will find a variety of items to meet your needs. The Outlets are great opportunities for small groups and individuals who are only available to work half days. There is a morning shift from 9-2 p.m. and an afternoon shift from 2-6 p.m. Volunteers who work at the Outlets help to unload donations, stock shelves and assist customers. If you would like to schedule a group to work at one of the Outlets please contact Alice Goble at 303-996-5468 or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Individual volunteers can either contact Alice or sign up online at www.habitatmetrodenver.org Framing WarehouseIn early March Habitat started operating a framing warehouse where walls and other framing components are built. The components are later taken to Habitat construction sites and installed. We are looking for volunteers with construction experience who are able to work one a day week to help at the framing warehouse. The warehouse is open Wednesday through Friday and volunteers are asked to work the full day from 9 a.m. to 4:30. p.m. Please contact Jeanne Fischetti, Volunteer Director at

If you can make a donation to help us build the house, it would be greatly appreciated. Contact us to make a donation. How Can Kids Help?Normally, volunteers at the build sites need to be 16 years of age. However, there are other opportunites for younger volunteers. Sponsor a Build Day Through our Adopt-A-Day ProgramThis program is designed especially for local businesses (of all sizes) who want to send 6-10 builders to the home site to work on teambuilding. Everything is provided, and is also a great way to recognize your organization. Here is more information about adopting a day.
