In early February, HIA hosted our Books for Bricks fundraiser, selling gently used books, CDs, DVDs, audio books, games, and more. This year the sale also featured many beautiful paintings by a truly talented artist, the sales of which were generously donated to HIA by a First Universalist member. St. Thomas Episcopal Church graciously provided their space as our venue for the book sale, allowing HIA to hold this event in a fun and funky neighborhood in Park Hill.

Many book-loving folks braved the wintry weather to come peruse the items for sale and enjoy delicious snacks and hot beverages. Many, many thanks to St. Thomas Episcopal for hosting and for their assistance with this event, to Colorado Academy for the bulk of the items for sale, to all the many volunteers and organizers of this event, to those who donated items for the sale, and to all of the folks who came by to shop in support of HIA's 2019 Habitat for Humanity home build!
